What Portal Checker does
AI and automation are only as good as the context in your CRM. Portal Checker reads how your portal is set up and used, scores it Hub by Hub, and ranks the fixes by the goals you choose.
We only request read permissions. We don't change or create anything in your account.
Every finding shows the exact number behind it and a link to check it in HubSpot.
You pick up to four goals; the report orders its priorities around them.

Before you start
You need three things. Most teams already have all of them.
Any plan works, including free. Features your plan doesn't include are marked as not applicable and never lower your score.
Usually a Super Admin, or a user with App Marketplace access in HubSpot's user permissions.
Reports belong to your company domain, so personal email addresses (Gmail, Outlook…) are not accepted.

Install and connect
There are two ways in. Both end in the same place, and HubSpot only asks you to authorize once.
Click Install app on the listing and authorize. You land on portalchecker.com to verify your email, choose your goals and run the audit.
Click Start, verify your email and choose your goals. When you connect, HubSpot asks you to authorize the app.

Verify your work email
Enter your work email and we send you a 6-digit code. It expires in 10 minutes.
- Access is per company domain: anyone on your team with an email at your domain can open your reports.
- If someone at your company already started, they approve each new teammate.

Unlock your audit
The full report is a one-time payment through Stripe: $99 USD for 5 reports, with no subscription and no expiry. If you have a coupon, redeem it here instead.
A report is only charged when it finishes. A failed audit doesn't use a credit.

Pick your goals
Choose up to 4 outcomes. We use them to order your priorities and give more weight to what matters to you.

Connect HubSpot
Click Connect with HubSpot, choose the portal and review the permissions. Everything we ask for is read-only.
- If your plan doesn't include a product, HubSpot simply doesn't grant that permission. The install still works.
- We read counts and settings — not the content of your emails, notes or conversations.

Let the audit run
It takes a few minutes. We go Hub by Hub and show you each step. You can close the tab: it finishes on its own and the link keeps working.
When it finishes, we delete the access key. The report stays; the access doesn't.

Read your report
You get an overall score, a score per Hub and the five actions that would move it most, ranked by your goals.
- Every finding comes with the exact number, what to do and a link to check it in HubSpot.
- Fixes are tagged as self-serve, assisted or needs a decision, so you know where to start this week.
- The link is permanent: share it with your team.

Your report inside HubSpot
Once installed, Portal Checker adds an app page to your portal, so your team can see the latest report without leaving HubSpot.
- It shows your finished audits: summary, score by Hub and history against the previous one.
- If a report hasn't been unlocked yet, the page tells you and links to unlock it.
- It follows each user's HubSpot language. You decide who sees it with HubSpot's user permissions for the app.

Data we read, and why
Every permission is read-only and used by a specific check. Optional permissions are only granted if your plan includes that product; if one is missing, the related checks show as not verified and never lower your score.

Pricing
One-time payment in USD through Stripe. No subscription, credits don't expire.
A credit is only used when a report finishes.
Redeem it when you start and skip the payment.

Privacy and security
The access key is stored encrypted only while the audit runs and is deleted when it finishes — even if it fails.
We store counts, rates and account details (portal ID, domain, time zone, currency), never your records.
Write to soporte@mediasource.com.mx and we answer within 20 business days. Deleting a report doesn't uninstall the app.

Disconnect or uninstall
The audit already deletes its access key, so nothing reads your portal after it finishes. To remove the app completely:
- 1In HubSpot, go to Settings → Integrations → Connected apps.
- 2Find Portal Checker and open Actions.
- 3Click Uninstall and confirm.
Uninstalling removes the app page from your portal. Your reports stay available at their link until you ask us to delete them.

Troubleshooting
HubSpot says I can't install apps.
Installing needs App Marketplace access. Ask a Super Admin to install it or to grant you that permission.
Some areas say “not verified”.
Your plan doesn't include that product, so HubSpot didn't grant its permission. It doesn't affect your score.
My email was rejected.
Use your work email. Reports belong to your company domain, so personal email addresses aren't accepted.
The code didn't arrive.
It can take a minute. Check spam, and request a new one after 10 minutes.
I don't see the app page in HubSpot.
It appears after your first audit finishes. Make sure you're in the portal you connected.
I closed the tab while it was running.
No problem. The audit finishes on its own; open your report link or start again with the same email.
