Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

These terms govern your use of Portal Checker (portalchecker.com and the Portal Checker app in HubSpot), operated by SERVICIOS DE CREATIVIDAD POR RESULTADOS, S.C. (“Media Source by Cebra”, “we”, “us”), with its address at Aniceto Ortega 817-D, Col. Del Valle, Mexico City, 03100, Mexico. By verifying your email, connecting a portal, installing the app or paying, you accept these terms and our Privacy Policy. If you use Portal Checker on behalf of a company, you confirm you're authorized to bind it. This English version is a translation; if there is any difference, the Spanish version prevails.

2. What Portal Checker is

Portal Checker is a diagnostic tool that reads the settings and totals of a HubSpot portal and produces a report with scores, findings and recommendations. Its HubSpot access is read-only: it doesn't create, edit or delete anything in your account, and no change is ever made on your behalf.

3. Your account and your authorization

• You need a work email you can verify. Access is per company, based on your email's domain.
• Only connect HubSpot portals you're authorized to audit, either because they belong to your company or because their owner allowed you. You're responsible for having that authorization.
• People at your company can request access to reports, and a member with access approves them. Approving someone is your decision and your responsibility.
• Keep your email secure: whoever controls it can open your company's reports.

4. Price, credits and payments

• The pack costs USD 99 as a one-time payment, with no subscription, and includes 5 reports for your company. Credits don't expire.
• A credit is used when a report finishes generating. An audit that couldn't be completed doesn't use a credit.
• Payments are processed by Stripe. Prices may change; a change doesn't affect credits you already bought.
• Coupons are subject to their own conditions, can't be exchanged for cash and may be withdrawn if misused.
• Refunds: if you paid and couldn't generate any report because of a problem on our side, write to soporte@mediasource.com.mx within 30 days of payment and we'll refund you. Other than that, and except where the law says otherwise, payments are non-refundable once a report has been generated.

5. Acceptable use

You may use Portal Checker and its reports for your company's needs, including sharing them with your advisors. You may not:

• Connect portals you're not authorized to audit.
• Try to get around access, payment or security controls.
• Copy, resell or redistribute the service, or use it to build a competing product.
• Reverse engineer it, scrape it or overload it.

6. What the report is and isn't

• The report is guidance. It reflects what HubSpot's API allows us to see at the time of the audit, with the permissions you granted. Anything that can't be measured is marked “not measured”, never made up.
• We don't infer which edition of each Hub you have, and we don't guarantee the report catches every issue in a portal.
• Recommendations are not legal, tax or compliance advice. Deciding which changes to make, and making them, is up to you. We suggest backing up your data before any bulk change.
• We don't guarantee business results (more leads, more sales, a higher score) from following the recommendations.

7. HubSpot and other third parties

Portal Checker is not affiliated with, sponsored by or endorsed by HubSpot, Inc. “HubSpot” and its products are trademarks of their respective owners. Portal Checker depends on HubSpot and other providers (hosting, payments, email); we're not responsible for their failures, API changes or outages, though we'll do what's reasonable to keep the service running.

8. Intellectual property

Portal Checker, its software, methodology, copy and design belong to us. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the service and your company's reports under these terms. Your portal's data remains yours.

9. Warranties and liability

The service is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent the law allows, we make no implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose or uninterrupted operation.

To the extent the law allows, we're not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data or business opportunities, arising from use of the service or from decisions you make based on a report. Our total liability for any claim is limited to what you paid us for Portal Checker in the 12 months before the claim.

You agree to hold us harmless from third-party claims arising from connecting a portal without authorization or using the service against these terms.

10. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or end access for anyone who breaks these terms. You can stop using the service at any time, uninstall the app from HubSpot and ask us to delete your reports. If we shut Portal Checker down, we'll give reasonable notice and refund unused credits proportionally.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We'll publish the new version on this page with its date; if the change is significant, we'll let you know by email. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept it.

12. Governing law and contact

These terms are governed by the laws of Mexico. Any dispute will be submitted to the competent courts of Mexico City, and the parties waive any other jurisdiction that might apply.
